Reliability and Versatility


The heart of the Centurion is a rugged X-Y-Z platform using a state of the art fiber optic vial sensor to position the sample needle over a sample vial rather than transporting the vial to the needle. Our versatile Windows®CE operating system allows users to program the actual volume of internal standard/surrogate from up to three IS positions. Our entire sample pathway uses highly inert PEEK® tubing rather than Teflon®.


Maximum Sample Flexibility


Get two autosamplers in a single Centurion package with Dual Mode Capability! Success in today’s competitive market is dependent on the laboratories’ ability to be highly productive and tp deliver fast, cost-effective results. The Centurion meets these demands by delivering maximum sample throughput and flexibility when incorporating the optional Dual Concentrator Mode to process up to 100 samples in a single batch using two purge and trap concentrators connected to a single GC or GC/MS. Customers using this configuration have increased throughput up to 100 samples in 24 hours on a single GC/MS!

If space and flexibilty are your major concern, connect the Centurion to two concentrators that are connected to two completely different GC or GC/MS systems. The Centurion then becomes two, 50 position autosamplers for the price of one!

Internal Standard Programmability

 

The Centurion uses a unique internal standard mechanism consisting of no moving parts. Our IS valves are similar to those used for ink jet printers and have the same reliability. The internal standard is accurately and reproducibly delivered to the sample by simply programming the needed time to inject various volumes into the sample at a constant pressure. The Centurion can be equipped with up to three internal standards for unlimited programmability and flexibility.
