PTS has several full time telephone support persons to assist you with questions on your volatile systems or on any of EST Analytical products. Our people are easy to reach, courteous and very knowledgeable. We help hundreds of customers to efficiently work through problems with their volatile instruments and our extensive inventory of spare parts assures you will be up and running quickly. PTS services all brands of purge and trap concentrators and auto-samplers manufactured by EST Analytical, Tekmar Teledyne and OI Analytical. In addition, our extensive knowledge of GC and GC/MS systems eliminates the "finger pointing" that can take place between manufacturers of different system components.

Field Service

In addition to our toll free technical support, PTS has expertly trained Field Service Engineers throughout the country to assist you directly in your laboratory. Our personnel routinely service HP, Agilent GC, GC/MS products and most detectors. Our labor rates are among the most competitive in the industry. Every Field Service Engineer carries a substantial inventory of parts and our ability to pre-diagnose the source of the problem assures you that your systems will be repaired promptly. Travel is charged one way on a Zone basis. Please call for additional information.

Maintenance Contracts

PTS offers a range of contract options including:

Full Service Contract- Unlimited on site service calls and technical support, all repair parts and 48 hours on-site response with travel charges included.

Parts Only Contract- For limited budgets we off parts only contracts. Either the customer or a PTS service representative can perform the repair.

Demand Service- is performed only when you need it. PTS will attempt to respond on-site within 48-72 hours. The customer pays for all Zone travel charges, the PTS hourly labor rate and parts associated with the repair.

Block of Time Program- Buy service hours in advance and save $$.

Preventative Maintenance- Select EST Analytical Products like the Konelab, do have one on site PM visit included in the cost of the contract.

Purge and Trap Method Development- PTS specializes in assisting customers with Method Development designed to reduce run times up to 50% on a variety of Purge and Trap methods including Method 8260. This service includes installation of necessary interface equipment, full calibration series and MDL's.

Bench Repair

Should you prefer, PTS offers full bench repair service at our facility. We strive to maintain a 72 hour turnaround time on all repairs including full refurbishments. All repairs are checked analytically in our GC laboratory and test chromatograms are included with your instrument. PTS will repair or refurbish all Purge and Trap products and routinely repairs HP, Agilent GC's, Detectors and Mass Spectrometers.

From time to time your purge and trap systems may need a full refurbishment due to contamination. PTS has excellent pricing. We can schedule your refurbishment and guarantee a 72 hour turn around time, complete with analytical test.

PTS has installed and serviced the Archon Autosampler since its' inception in 1995. There are several important upgrades, such as the X,Y, Z arm and elevator upgrades that greatly improve the reliability of your Archon. PTS can offer these at very reasonable prices since we fabricate our own parts.
